Loren Wengerd, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Loren Wengerd is a serial entrepreneur and strategist. Loren provides independent consulting services for business strategy, serving companies in a variety of industries. Loren currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Design Laboratories, Inc. Loren utilized his theory he developed at Yale in Energy Transfer Dynamics in Sound and Acoustics to found Halo Audio, a company that harnesses revolutionary and proprietary sound wave behavior modeling as a part of architectural design and room acoustic products. Prior to Halo Audio, Loren had founded Eaglemont, a content development company at the leading edge of 21st century media convergence. Eaglemont has garnered 45 awards for its role in introducing blended media into the production of a children's book series called Adventures of Riley®. He successfully sold the book series to Scholastic, the largest children's book publisher in the United States. As a professional photographer, Loren has traveled to and worked on all seven continents. Loren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Yale University and has lectured on technology, interactive media, education and Energy Transfer Dynamics at Harvard, Yale and international professional conferences.
Kyle Yoder, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Kyle Yoder has been a Wireless ISP pioneer since its beginning. He recently sold his previous business, Lightspeed Wireless, a WISP in Northeast Ohio, which he had successfully built, owned and operated. Prior to Lightspeed, he served as CTO for Digital Dish, the Ohio Dish Network Regional Service Provider where he oversaw the growth and direction of the organization's communication and network management. Combining strategic business management with IT, he improved inventory and communication efficiency across the organization of 500 employees throughout the state. Kyle also consults for multiple IT departments, building and maintaining network infrastructure and client management software. Kyle is fluent in advanced routing protocols and wireless networking infrastructure, applying best practices for ISP and WISP environments.
Andy Pedack, Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer
Andy has spent almost 20 years driving growth and innovation in Fortune 500 companies and start-ups across several industries. Most recently, he has been President and principal consultant for Sugarloaf, Inc., providing management services including going-to-market strategy and planning, marketing and branding, operations and business processes, project-program-products management, and information systems planning and management. Andy's history includes roles in sales, marketing, general management, and product management at various companies including Onyx Software, Vigilos Software, Johnson Controls, and General Electric. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alaska.
Doug Gorder, Chief Financial Officer
Doug has been a technology entrepreneur and innovator for nearly 30 years. His experience includes developing and executing growth strategy, with particular emphasis on financial and operations issues for large and small companies such as IBM, US WEST, Aldus Corporation, The Cobalt Group, and Vigilos. He was a co-founder of the latter two, with Cobalt completing an IPO in 1999, and Vigilos operating for ten years before being sold in early 2010. These experiences provide Doug with firsthand knowledge, skills, and relationships within the tech communities, including hardware and software, Internet, wireless, and a variety of related services.
